Labour’s National Policy Forum
Welcome to Labour’s National Policy Forum
National Policy Forum (NPF)
Welcome to Labour’s online home of policy development.
2026 is the year that Britain gets back on track on the path to a decade of national renewal.
The National Policy Forum plays a crucial role in the development of the Labour Party’s policy platform to support the Labour Government and build towards the next General Election.
The current policy development cycle was launched in January 2025 following the 2024 General Election. We are now in the second year of that cycle.
Our 2026 consultation runs from 5 March 2026 to 11 June 2026. We encourage members, affiliates, stakeholders and members of the public to get involved and submit their views.

Kickstart economic growth

Make Britain a clean energy superpower

We welcome submissions from members of the public, Constituency and Branch Labour Parties, trade unions and socialist societies, as well as contributions from expert organisations such as think tanks, businesses and civil society.
No matter how new you are to politics or how involved you are in the Party, you can contribute to the Party’s policymaking. All of us will have issues we particularly care about, and expertise and experience we can bring to the Party.
The 2026 consultation will open soon, but you are still welcome to make a policy submission below. This will be considered as part of the 2026 consultation.
